Tóth Viktor

He was born in 1977 in Kiskunhalas. When Viktor was 15 he got into the youth group of the Big Band of Szekszárd; then as a 16-year-old was invited by István Pecze to the Big Band as a solo player. In 1998, he established his first trio, in which András Mohay played the drums and Zoltán Oláh performed on the contra-bass. He has also been a member of the Kõszegi Imre Quartet, and played together with Árpád Oláh "Cumó" and György Orbán. They founded their saxophone quartet, the Road Six Sax in 2001, with which they performed on several European festivals and guest stars, they prepared traditional Bulgarian music for one of the plays of the Budapest Bulgarian Malko Teatro Theatre. Viktor was invited into Djabe in March 2004, since Ben Castle’s contribution he is the first saxophone player in the band.
